As part of the #SerCidadão week at U.Porto, personal data will be collected and used for the purpose of managing the event and reporting to the supervising authority. Providing personal data is a legal and contractual obligation and a necessary requirement. Accordingly, refusal to provide it prevents the registration process and the corresponding participation in the Week of Citizenship, Volunteering and Social Responsibility at U.Porto.

Purpose

Personal data is used for registration, management of event participants and reporting to the supervising authority.

Storage

Data will be kept for as long as necessary for the stated purposes.

Image and audio capture

As part of this event, ReVIReS will capture images and audio strictly for the purpose of publicising the institutional activities promoted by the Higher Education Institution, in particular to disseminate U.Porto's initiatives among the academic community, reproducing them on the Week of Citizenship, Volunteering and Social Responsibility website, newsletters and social media used. As the data controller, U.Porto guides its actions by strict compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation, respecting the principles of personal data processing, and relies on appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the privacy and security of the personal data it processes. Under applicable law, to exercise their rights, the data subject should contact U.Porto in writing or via email at: revires@up.pt.
