When and where did #SerCidadão take place?

From 21 to 26 September 2026, across the University of Porto's three campuses and at community venues such as Trindade Metro Station, the Porto Botanical Garden and Associação A Casa do Caminho, in Matosinhos. The full programme is still available.

Where can I see the photos from the week?

In the Gallery, organised by activity. Each album has a selection of highlights and every photo available.

Can I download and use the photos?

Yes, for personal use or to promote the initiative, keeping the photographer's credit shown on each image. For any other use, please contact ReVIReS.

What happened to the goods collected?

The essential goods and paper dropped off at the collection points in U.Porto's faculties and units were handed over to the Porto Food Bank at the closing of the week. Every Charity Walk entry fee also went to the Porto Food Bank.

How can I keep volunteering?

Follow ReVIReS and the associations that were at the Volunteering Fair — you will find them on the Partners page. On 16–17 November 2026, the University of the Azores hosts the 6th National Meeting on Volunteering in Higher Education, with registration open to the public.

How are personal data and images captured during the event used?

The personal data collected is processed solely by the ReVIReS team of the University of Porto, exclusively for organising, managing and communicating about the #SerCidadão Week, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The photos published in the Gallery were taken with participants' consent; if you would like an image removed, please contact ReVIReS.
