#SerCidadão — Week of Citizenship, Volunteering and Social Responsibility — 21 to 26 September 2026

A week dedicated to citizenship and volunteering, promoted by ReVIReS — Volunteering, Inclusion and Social Responsibility Network of the University of Porto. Over six days, the University opens its doors to volunteering, awareness-raising, and sharing initiatives.

To mark the International Year of Volunteering for Sustainable Development, this initiative establishes itself as a week of solidarity that reinforces the University's commitment to promoting civic and solidary engagement within its community, fostering social responsibility, volunteering, and sustainability, while contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and strengthening partnerships with external entities, the community, and across the University's different Academic Units.

More than just a week, it is an invitation to build a more conscious, solidary, and committed university—dedicated to the future of people, society, and the planet.
