ReVIReS — Network for Volunteering, Inclusion and Social Responsibility of U.Porto
To mark the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development, ReVIReS – the University of Porto's Volunteering, Inclusion, and Social Responsibility Network – invites the academic community to engage in experiences that bridge knowledge and action. This initiative aims to foster positive impact and contribute to sustainable development across environmental, social, economic, and mental health dimensions.
This initiative is designed as a week of solidarity that reinforces the University's commitment to promoting civic and social engagement within its community. By fostering social responsibility, volunteering, and sustainability, it contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while strengthening partnerships with external entities, the local community, and across the University's various Organic Units.
More than just a week, it is an invitation to build a university that is more mindful, supportive, and committed to the future — of people, society, and the planet.
